I'm a technology veteran turned consultant, advisor, investor of women-led startups.
After a career in technology, holding CIO and CTO roles in mostly large companies, I became involved in the Atlanta startup community when my company launched the FinTech program at the ATDC.
After three years I knew this was how I wanted to spend the rest of my career - helping early stage startups and particularly women founders. As CTO of Greenlight, I have first hand experience with early stage technology development and scaling. But, tech is tech, and doing it right for the isn't much different in the large or small setting - planning for the right size and scale as the business grows with sensible plans is the main thing.
Dedicating my time to women and helping them be successful is greatly satisfying. As I say "there's no glass ceiling when you start at the top!" I have invested in the JumpFund, a women specific VC, am on the Board of Directors of Women in Technology and the Advisory Board of Per Scholas (Atlanta).
At WIT we are teaming with our local accelerators, like Launchpad2x, to put our collective resources to work for our women led startups. Together, we can make big things happen.
Oh, and I really love riding horses..... and have a farm. In case you were wondering about this picture.
